Athena Finance Group has a wealth of experience in providing financial advice, cost planning, accounting services, statistical analysis, and educational programs to entities seeking a long-term relationship as well as those needing short-term assistance for special projects.
Our name comes from Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom, she embodies our core business philosophy.
Candace Leuck
- Certified Public Accountant
- Masters of Professional Accountancy, Clemson University
- Experience in auditing, systems design,valuations, SEC filings, bankruptcy procedures, cost analysis and all general accounting procedures
Candace has been involved in the financial community for 25 years, having served on boards of various professional organizations as well as serving on the boards of several not for profit organizations. Candace is a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to her work with Athena, she teaches at Clemson University.
Glen Carson, Ed.D.

Glen developed a faculty merit bonus system based on statistical analysis of student academic growth. He has planned and conducted a program evaluation for multiple grant-sponsored programs in the non-profit sector as well as having prepared quantitative and qualitative data analyses to support proposals for non-profit organizational reorientation.
Janice Teixeira
- Engineer and Project Analyst
- Bachelor of Science from Georgia Institute of Technology
- Experience with software programs, inventory control systems, accounting and payroll procedures.
Janice has experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment, quality engineer with ISO registration experience Janice has been involved with process improvement engineering (fast cycle production), and implementation of inventory control software applications. Due to Janice’s superior knowledge of processes, she also has experience with all general accounting functions.
